Welcome Ceremony at St Philomena Pre-University College Puttur

Puttur: A welcome ceremony to extend official welcome to first PU students was held in St Philomena Pre-University College Puttur on June 6, 2016 at college auditorium. The Ceremony was inaugurated by the Correspondent Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto. In his address he said, ‘Education should bring an overall development of body, mind and soul.’ The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro expressed his best wishes to all the students.

On this occasion, Ms. Krithi A T of Bethani English Medium High School and Mr. Ajay Raj of M E S High School Mudigere were honoured for their extra-ordinary performance in SSLC examination.

The Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo extended a special welcome to all the newcomers and presented code of conduct of the college. Mr. Prashant Bhat, Department of Chemistry made power point presentation about historical background of the college.

Avilia and group presented the prayer song. Mrs. Noveline D’Souza, Department of English welcomed the gathering. Ms. Savitha, Department of History proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Viola Peirera, Department of English compered the programme.
