Mangaluru: Second additional district and sessions court judge has reserved orders on the anticipatory bail application of NaMo Brigade co-founder Naresh Shenoy, who is wanted by Mangaluru city police in connection with the murder of RTI activist Vinayak Pandurang Baliga, to April 29.
Public prosecutor Shekar Shetty opposed the bail plea of Shenoy citing various judgments of Supreme Court and high courts against people wanted in such cases. Shetty said his main plea to judge Sarvodaya Shettigar was that granting bail to Shenoy will hamper ongoing police investigation into the murder of the RTI activist.
