Writers were felicitated on the day of Kannada Rajyotsava

Kundapur: Nov 2: Felicitation to the writers was organized by Canara Photographer, Kundapur zone (R) (Dakshina Kannada-Udupi) Association on account of Kannada Rajyotsava at the Akshatha auditorium of Hariprasad Hotel, Kundapur. A.S.N Hebbar-renowned writer, advocate and ex president of Kannada Parishad presided over the function.

Om Ganesh Uppunda-writer and magician, Bernad J Dcosta Kundapur-writer and journalist, Yakub Khadar, Gulvady were felicitated by this renowned association on account of 60th Kannada Rajyotsava.

In his presidential speech Hebbar said, “South Canara Photographers Association has really done a commendable work. You have selected the appropriate writers. I have read the literatures of all these writers. You have shown your love for all religions by selecting writers from Hindu, Christian and Muslim communities.”

Grasion Dias, the president of the association was the president of this programme. All the writers thanked the association for organizing such a great programme.

Girish K-the president of the advisory committee of the association, Sudhir Shetty-the sponsor of the programme, U S Shenoy of Kundaprabha weekly, secretary Chandrakant were present at the dais.

Pramod Ranjan-the secretary of the association welcomed all. Suresh Molahalli compered the programme.
