Yoga classes held at SMVITM

Udupi: The NSS-YRC, Rotaract Club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal in association with Rotary Shankerpura jointly inaugurated Yoga classes for the benefit of faculty, staff and students on Monday 29 August 2016 at the institute premises.

The yoga class was inaugurated by Sri Radhakrishna Prabhu, Rtd. Head master, Sri Durga parameshwari Aided Higher Primary School, Bantakal & yoga trainer. In his inaugural address he stressed the importance of yoga and briefed about different concepts in yoga.

Prof. Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, Principal, in his address said that all the faculty, staff and students should make use this yoga class and he conveyed his gratitude to Rotary Shankerpura. Sri Rathnakumar, Secretary, SSVMET, NSS-YRC & Rotaract Coordinator Mr. Nagaraja Rao, Rtn. Anil D’Sa, President, Rotary Shankerpura, Rtn. Ganapathi Acharya, Club Chairman, SMVITM, Bantakal; HODs of various departments, faculty, staff and students attended the program.
