Udupi: Youth Congress workers staged protest at Clock Tower, near Service Bus Stand Udupi against the allegations made by Subramanya Swamy, BJP leader and Modi government at Centre alleged political vendetta to ruin congress party.

In his address, Amrith Shenoy, Youth Congress leader said that BJP is in proxy political vendetta against the opposition parties in the country. National Herald was started by Pandit Nehru during the fight for the Indian Independence. It is the mouthpiece paper of Congress Party like Samna of Shiva Sena party. It is not wrong to own a news paper. But BJP under the leadership of Modi though Subramanya Swami leveling baseless allegations on Sonia Gandhi, President, Rahul Gandhi, Vice President and other congress leaders.
Amrith Shenoy said that BJP won the election due to the media and other reasons. BJP government and Subramanya Swamiy should look on corruption charges against its leaders like Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani and others. But the government at centre has been concentrating to file the cases against the opposition.

M.A.Gafoor, Secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee was alleging political vendetta in National Herald case. He said the allegations and insinuations against the party leaders were deliberately orchestrated and are patently false and defamatory. Congress respects the integrity of judicial process and is confident that its leaders are fully vindicated through the judicial process.

Sathish Amin, Girish Udyavara, Prashanth Poojary, Yethish Karkera, Ramesh Kanchan, Denish Puthran, Sujay Poojary, Kishan Hegde Kolkebail, Nagesh Udyavara, Sunil D. Bangera and other leaders of the congress party were present during the protest.
