Realistic film ‘Yeh Hai India’ jointly directed by G.K.Yogesh and Lom Harsh has an interesting cast of actors and musicians.

First Interesting addition to the cast Ashutosh Kaushik winner of reality shows ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Roadies’.

About his role, Ashutosh told media, “My role is a person just like any other person from our country. I play a common man who endures severe hardships and hassles. “

The title alone gives a substantial idea about the subject highlighted in the film. Several movies based on the issues troubling India have been screened before. Explaining the difference with this film, Ashutosh said, “The movie is not a satire but a portrayal of the real India. We are striving to highlight an unexplored facet about India which hasn’t been depicted on screen before. There are issues that citizens have forgotten because we aren’t reminded about them. We want to portray the remarkable feats achieved by India which has inspired innovations all over the world.”

Filmmakers generally take inspirations from real-life politicians and political parties while making films on these subjects. Ashutosh said, “It is a story about India and not about any political party. Every issue which has tarnished the image of India worldwide all these years has been showcased. We are not trying to portray India in a negative light but focusing on the true and real events occurring in our country.”

Ashutosh doesn’t want to model his character on some politician or another role essayed by another actor. He said, “As soon as I heard the subject, it pushed me to do the film. I will enact this role in such a manner that other actors will derive inspiration from my performance. A substantial portion of shooting is remaining but I have already got immersed in my character from the film. I want the youth to watch the film, take inspiration out of it and convey its message to the society.”

‘Yeh Hai India’ will be jointly directed by G.K Yogesh and Lom Harsh and jointly produced by Lom harsh & Sandeep Choudhary under the banner of DLB Films Pvt. Ltd.
