Konkona Sen among cast of 'Sajarur Kanta' gathered on 11th week success.

National Award Winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma wooed audience with her mesmerizing acting skills in “Sajarur Kanta” says playing the role was “Big challenge” for her.

The Film was released on 20 March, 2015 and has gathered praises all over and still running in Cine Max Mumbai. It was the special day where the star cast Konkona Sen Sharma, Indraneil Sengupta along with the director Mr. Saibal Mitra came together to celebrate the success of the film.

The Film is in its 11th week and still running.

“Sajarur Kanta was a big Challenge for me because it is a detective film plus a love story. So it was challenging for me to be part of a detective film” says Konkona.

“Byomkesh Bakshi stories are historic and every Bengali knows them very well, and they have been waiting for screen adaptation, because it is a popular short love story, plus Byomkesh Bakshi is the flavor of the season. Above all our Byomkesh Bakshi is different than others as he is older” actress further added.

“Shajarur Kanta” is a Byomkesh Bakshi mystery film based on the novel written by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay.

Dhritiman Chatterjee, Indraneil Sengupta, Kaushik Sen and Konkona Sen Sharma are seen in leading roles.
