Salman Khan to get National Award for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" ?

Mumbai, (IANS): A lot has been said and still being said about the records being broken by Salman Khan's “Bajrangi Bhaijaan". Now that the superstar's film has made Rs. 300 crores in just three weeks of its release, we stumbled upon a question "Should Salman get a National Award for the film ?" or "will he be chosen for National Award or any other award ?". Well the question is apt and so as the records that "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" has broken and the strong message it entails.

Even Salman's co-star and friend Kareena Kapoor Khan had recently said that Salman might get a National Award for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". To a leading daily, Kareena had said,

"I think some critics are a little unnerved by the change in Salman’s personality. I feel he might get the National award. It’s not just the performance. It’s also the strong message behind the film that makes Salman so powerful in this film."
