Veteran Bollywod actor Om Puri passes away

Mumbai, Jan,06: Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri passed away on Friday morning after suffering severe cardiac arrest at his residence in Mumbai. He was 66.

Puri was an alumnus of the 1973 class of National School of Drama. He was awarded Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India. He had acted as a strict police officer in Shiv Rajkumar starrer Kannada movie
