Vinay Rajkumar's second film as a hero has been titled as 'R The King'. The film is being directed by jOGI Prem and produced by Parvathamma Rajakumar under the Vajrewari Combines banner.

Prem had announced the title of the film on Dr Rajakumar's birthday this year. An event was organised at the Dr Rajakumar Memorial in Kanteerava Studio midnight and the title and the title was officially launched there. Shivarajkkunar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar and others were present at the occasion.
The film's shooting will start in September as Prem will complete his acting assignments. Vinay will also prepare for his role in Mumbai. The film will have music by Arjun Janya, marking his first musical in Vajrewari Combines banner.
