Mumbai, Sep. 19: 100th annual general meeting of Model Co-operative Bank Limited was held on Saturday at St. Xavier’s Engineering College Auditorium, Mahim(W). Albert D’Souza presided over the annual general meeting and addressed the gathering.
At the beginning of annual general meeting, Bishop Barthol Baretto blessed and performed thanks-giving mass. John G. Mendonca joined the mass. Keneth Sequeira and group offered prayer songs. Albert honored Bishop Barthol and John D’Silva- founder of the bank, by offering bouquet. Also, they expressed their views in the program.
William Sequeira- vice-president of the bank, Paul Nazareth, Sanjay Shinde, Benedicta Rebello, Marita D’Silva, Jerald Cardoza, Abraham Clement Lobo, Lawrence D’Souza, Justice Pius Vas, Ancy D’Souza, William L. D’Souza were present on the dais. Vincent Mathias and Thomas D. Lobo spoke occasionally.
Herald M. Seravo, former directors, senior officers, heads of various branches, shareholders, well-wishers were present at the annual general meeting. Members expressed views on behalf of shareholders and wished for the success of bank.
William L. D’Souza- The CEO and the general manager read the notice letter and detailed the agenda of the annual general meeting. Silent prayer was offered to the departed members of the bank. Edward Rasquinha compered the program. William Sequeira proposed the vote of thanks.
