15th Branch of Model Bank Inaugurated at CBD Belapur

Mumbai, Nov 3: “Regional level development is possible only by co-operative institutions. There is a need of loyalty in economic development. Let this bank become a role model catering the needs of people” -said Prabhath Ranjan –The Police Commissioner of New-mumbai.

The Police Commissioner- Prabhath Ranjan spoke these words by inaugurating the 15th branch of Model Co-operative Bank Ltd by lighting the lamp at Shree Nandadham Building, Flat No: 59, Sector 11th of CBD Belapura of New Mumbai.

The inauguration was conducted under the president ship of Albert W. D’Souza- the Executive President of the Bank. Rev. Fr. Joe D’mello-Parish priest of Saint Joseph church- Belapur inaugurated the new branch and blessed it. The local MLA Manda Mhatre inaugurated the ATM service.

“I am an old customer of this bank; convenient business management is the speciality of this bank. This branch is a gift to sub-urban area. Availing the benefit of this branch is the responsibility of the public” said Fr. Joe D’mello and blessed the bank.

In her speech Manda Mhatre said-“rendering a good service is the tool for development. As the branches increase, the responsibilities will also increase. In between, there should not be decline in commercial skills. Extend your service providing advanced facilities and expand the serive to developing ares of Khargar and Uran”.

In his presidential speech Albert D’Souza said-“By understanding the sensitive financial matters of the public, Model bank is striving hard to extend the financial services to its customers. The bank which is developing very fastly by implementing the promotional policy is going to open six more new branches within this financial year. By developing the business quality, according to the policies of the RBI, we are committed to the service of general public.

John D’Silva the founder president of the bank, Vice Executive President William Sequiera were present at the dais, and offered flower bouquets to the guests. The CEO and General Manager- William L D’Souza and additional Chief General Manager Herald M Serao introduced the guests.

Sanjeev N. Shetty Uppala (Ashwith) - Hotel indusrialist and social worker, CBD Bhaskar Shetty, Khandesh Bhaskar Shetty, Building owner-K Ashok, directors Clement Lobo, Lawrence D’Souza, Lazaras Menezes, Paul Nazareth, Justice Piyus Vaz, Smt Benedicta Rebello, new customers, shareholders were present and wished good luck. Beeta Carvallo welcomed all and compered the programme. N. S. Kamath- the general Manager proposed vote of thanks.
