Mumbai, Sept. 14: 160th Jayanti Celebration of Brahmashree Narayana Guru was held grandly on Sunday at the Borivili local office of Billawa’s Association Mumbai. Damodar C. Kundar, the executive president of ofBorivili local office inaugurated the Jayanti celebration by lighting the lamp.


L.V. Amin, the former president of Billawa’s Association Mumbai was the chief guest and participated in the rituals. Sri Shekhar offered shanty puja procedures and distributed tirtha-prasad. ShekharSasihitlu, the women’s wing and Sri Mahishamardinibhajanamandali sang bhajans. P.A. Poojary, ChandrahasaKotian Santa Kruz, G.M. Kotian-local honorary executive president of Borivili, Damodar C. Kundar-executive president, ShimanturuChandrahasaSuvarna, joint executive presidents M. SundarPoojary and KrishnarajSuvarna, Honorary Secretary Mohan B. Amin, Honorary treasurer Shekhar S. Amin, joint secretary Sridhar V. Bangera, joint treasurer Vatsala K. Poojary and other dignitaries and members were present at the occasion.
