40th Annual General Meeting of Bharat Bank – 118 Crores Net Profit

BHARAT BANK IS COMMITTED TO CUSTOMERS’ SERVICE: JAYA C SUVARNA

Mumbai, June 21:The 40th Annual General Meeting of Bharat Bank Limited was held on 18.06.2016 Saturday evening at Brizvasi Palace Auditorium, Goregaon (E). Nithyananda D. Kotian – the President of Billawa Association inaugurated the general meeting by lighting the lamp. Jaya C. Suvarna – the Executive President of Bharat Bank presided over the general meeting.

In his presidential address Jaya Suvarna gave information about world profile, Indian saving, financial management, profit, tax opportunities, percentage benefit, annual awards, membership, extension of branches, extended financial business of branches, fixed deposit insurances, advance payment, loan and advance repayment, foreign exchange, insurance, pan card service, technical upgrade, new products, internal and external audit etc. He gave a picture of achievements in the year 2015-16.

In the last year bank has achieved 16.45% development. 20 new branches have opened. Services like chillar app service, DTH service and data card service, asset backed loan, bcb auto plus, bcb pushpak plus and bcb medi over draft services have been started. He also put forward the net profit and account details of 2015-16. The bank is giving 15% dividend to its shareholders.

Managing director and chief executive officer C.R. Mulky welcomed everyone and gave details of share capital, reserved fund, fixed deposit, saving deposit, current fund, bharat daily deposit, loan and advances, gross income, net profit, working capital etc. He said that Bank has received ‘A’ certificate as per audit classification.

Kotian, Jyothi K. Suvarna, C.T. Salian, Anbalagan C. Harijan were present at the dais.

Gowda – the President of Okkaliga Seva Sangha, hundreds of shareholders, customers, well-wishers were present during the annual general meeting.
