82nd Branch of Bharat Bank at Surat-Gujarat

Mumbai, November 19: The hattrick winner of “Excellent Bank” award from the Institution of Co-operative Bank Association Ltd of Mumbai, the Bharath bank (Mumbai) Ltd., is inaugurating its 82nd branch on Thursday, at Central Bazar complex of Varaccha city at Surat, Gujarat.

The president of Rashtriya Billawa Maha Mandala and Executive president of Bharath Bank-Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the first branch of Surat by cutting the ribbon. The senior industrialist Havanje Shivarama Shetty inaugurated the branch by lighting the lamp.

Rohini J Salian-the executive vice president of the bank inaugurated the ATM services, Pushpalatha N Salian-senior director of the bank inaugurated the locker facility and the chief executive officer and Managing Director-C R Mulky inaugurated the computerized services.

During the inaugural function Kumar Kanani, the MLA of Surat constituency, Krishna S Anchan-Hon.President of the Billawa Sangha of Surat, Vishwanath Poojary Badoly-president, Prabhakara Suvarna-vice-president, Manoj C Poojary-Karnataka Samaja of Surat, Ramachandra Shetty-Hon.president, Vanitha S Shetty- Hon.chief secretary, Soumya P Poojary-President of Women’s wing, Prabhakara Suvarna-vice-president, Dayananda Bontra Baroda, Asst.Police commissioners- V B Patil, Himanshu Solanke, Police inspector-C K Patil, owner of the building-Rajendra Chokawala, industrialist Sadhu S Poojary Brahmavara, Dinesh S Poojary Brahmavara, Harish Lakani-were present as the chief guests. The local customers and well-wishers were present in the function and wished good luck to the overall development of the branch.

This is the only bank which treats every customer with equal service. Let this bank provide its service across India and let it become a leading bank in the co-operative sector of the nation”said Havanje Shivarama Shetty.

Industrialist Rajendra Bhai said-“The Bharath bank which has developed speedily in the economic sector is now entering into this industrial city, and it is a matter of pride. This is the city of achievers, where every industrialist and industry can achieve a lot here. In the same manner, this bank also will be successful and to achieve this, the co-operation of the local public is very essential.”

“Beginning from Mumbai, Bharath bank extended its service throughout India and this is a great thing. The bank is progressing with its business upholding the relationships. Let it become a prime bank in the banking sector”– Dayananda Bontra wished the success.

Vishwanath Poojary said- “the service of Bharath bank in the co-operative sector is an exemplary. Let this bank write a new chapter.”

Manoj Poojary expressed his opinion, Directors Advocate S B Amin, Chandrashekar s Poojary, R D Poojary, K B Poojary, Gangadhar J Poojary, Managing director and CEO-C R Mulky, Chief General Manager Anil Kumar R Amin, General Manager Shobha Dayanand, Sunil A Gujaran and others present and wished good luck.

Ullur Dhananjaya Shanthi and Shekar Shanthi Ullur performed Vaastupooja, Ganahoma, and Dwarapooja. Gangadhar Kallady distributed the Theertha prasadam. Prashanth P Poojary and Bharathi Prashanth Poojary couple had taken the leadership of the Pooja rituals.

Mohandas Hejamady the Vice-General Manager and head of the development department welcomed all. During the occasion Jaya C Suvarna honoured Krishna S Anchan, Manoj C Poojary and Ranjitha Manoj couples by offering the Shawl and bouquets.

General Manager Nithyananda D Kotian gave brief information about long term service and opening of the 82 branch of the bank, introduced the guests and conducted the programme. The officers Aravinda C Poojary, Sanjeeva A Poojary, Kapil K Poojary, Sunil S Suvarna, Vivek Mehtha, and Krishna Setna honored the guests by offering the bouquets. Prashanth P Poojary –branch manager proposed vote of thanks.
