The 95th branch of The Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited was inaugurated on Thursday at Punit Nagar Building, Timbode Road, Palghar (W) Thane, Maharshtra.
Jaya C Suvarna, the executive president of the bank and Ramdas L Jawharkar , the retired commanding officer of Maharasthra State Home Guard inaugurated the branch by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp respectively. Damodar C Kundar, the director of the bank inaugurated the ATM service, Director R D Poojary inaugurated the Locker facility and C R Mulky the managing director and chief executive officer inaugurated the computerized services.
Shankar K Suvrana, Ramdas Jawharkar, senior journalist P. M Patil appreciated the service rendered by the bank and wished good luck.
The executive president Jaya Suvarna, C R Mulky, the directors Damodar C. Kundar, R D Poojary, Bhaskar M Salian, Anil Kumar R Amin, Nityananda D Kotian, V S Shanbag, Naveenchandra S Bangera, N M Sanil, Shobha Dayanand were present.
Many activists, industrialists, development officers, customers share holders and well wishers were present during this occasion.
Religious rituals such as ganahoma, laxmi satyanarayana pooja, vastu pooja, homa, vastu bali, dwara pravesha pooja were performed and tirtha prasadam was distributed. Asst manager and chief of the development board of the bank Mohandas Hejmady welcomed all, introduced the guest, presented the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
