Mumbai, July.29: Mumbai’s Senior Literary, Tulu Kannada poet, translator, dramatist, teacher, Voice artist who is popular among the masses with his multitalented talents Shimunje Parari (Sitarama Muddanna Shetty) I-Lesa The Voice of Ocean (R.) felicitated by their Annual Sanman 2023.
Shimunje Parari (accompanied by his wife Chandrika Shetty) performed Pada Pooja in a different and meaningful way at a programme organized on Saturday afternoon at the Country Club Hall in Andheri West to mark the completion of I-Lesa’s 3rd Year of establishment in this month of August.
Nationally renowned poet Subraya Chokkadi along with renowned playback singer Rameshchandra Bangalore Chief of I-Lesa, honored and felicitated Shimunje Parari with an honorary Gurudakshina worth Rs 84,000/- to commemorate his age. On this auspicious occasion, distinguished businessmen from Gulf countries like Sarvotham Shetty Abu Dhabi, Ravi Shetty Moodambailu (Qatar), Young writer Akshtaraj Perla Mangalore congratulated the participating honorees as guests.
In honor of his eighty-fourth, Shimunje was given food of his choice, gifts were offered, songs were sung in the presence of the senior poet, poet's poetry was recited, and the program was varied and meaningful.
