Glorious Angelore Productions super hit first historical bilingual Konkani/Tulu Movie ‘ASHEM ZALEM KASHEM / INCHA AANDA YENCHA’ successfully launched ‘Ticket Release’ programme in Banquet Hall of Winny’s Restaurant, Karama, Dubai on Saturday the 2ndSeptember, 2017. The programme was attended by leaders of various associations including well-wishers.
Producer Shodhan Prasad of Sandhya Creations Overseas Movies welcomed the guests and briefed on the current trend of Konkani Movies coming up to the level of other regional Tulu movies. He invited Producer/Director Maxim Pereira, Singer/Actor & Entrepreneur Joseph Mathias, Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Robert Lasrado of St. Mary’s Church Dubai, President of Karnataka Sangha Abu Dhabi, Sarvotham Shetty, Patron of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Mark Denis, Dayan D’Souza of Daiji Rang Manch&Actress Jennifer D’Souza of AshemZalemKashemon to the stage and welcomed them with flower bouquet.
Also present were Comedy Star Deepak Paladka who to his credit has acted in various Tulu, Konkani & Kannada movies&Actor Director Pradeep Barboza of ‘EkAslyar El Na’ fame who also has to his credit one Kannada Movie.
All the Guests lighted the traditional lamp and inaugurated the programme.Rev. Fr. Robert Lasrado prayed and blessed for the success of the movie.He said it is nice to support our mother tongue Konkani and everybody should be part of this.
Soon the Ticket Release was done by Fr. Lasrado, Sarvotham Shetty & other guests on the stage. The much awaited film ‘AshemZalemKashem / InchaAandaYencha’ will have premier release in Dubai on Friday the 22nd September, 2017 at Galleria Cinemas with two shows at 10 am and 4 pm. It will be released in Abu Dhabi on Friday the 29th September, 2017 at Eldorado Cinemas with one show at 10 am in Abu Dhabi & the same day at 4 pm in Novo Cinemas Mega Mall.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarvotham Shetty added humour to the programme and confirmed his whole hearted support to this venture. He said that it is nice to have a Konkani movie with Tulu artistes and Tulu dialogues and shared some lighter moments of his experience watching another Konkani Movie earlier. He also requested the audience to come forward in making the show houseful wherever it is released. He came forward and bought Abu Dhabi tickets, followed by Mark Denis who bought Sharjah Tickets and Veronica Alva who bought Dubai Tickets. Later all the movie lovers assemble came forward and grabbed more and more tickets giving positive sign of houseful shows in the beginning itself which was appreciated.
Later Dayan D’Souza of Daiji Rang Manch spoke few words and said that Konkani Movies are not done for making money but it is sheer love towards the mother tongue. We all should collectively support these people who come forward in this venture, he added.
Joseph Mathias conducted the vote of thanks and humbly thanked each and every one in the audience for their support and guidance. He also appreciated the quick response of all those who gathered in a short notice of invitation.
Shodhan Prasad requested all the Konkani & Tulu Movie lovers to support and come in large numbers and show their solidarity in saving our mother tongue by doing so.
The programme ended with light refreshments.
