Mumbai: ‘Aakanksha – 2015’, a pageant, was held on Saturday 18th April, 2015 at Bunts Sangha Kurla (East), Mumbai organized by the Youth Wing Bunts Sangha Mumbai.
Bunts Sangha, Mumbai President, Mr Karnire Vishwanath Shetty set the proceedings in motion by lighting the lamp.
Actor Tej Sapru, son of renowned actor Mr Sapru, was the chief guest with other dignitaries of Bunts sangha were present on the occasion.
There were total 30 contestants, 10 each in Mr Bunt, Miss Bunt & Mrs Bunt category.
The sponsors were Aadhya Sarees, Peninsula Grand Hotel, Sampoorna Payyade Residency, Sai palace Andheri, JEMMAA Jewels, Hotel Kinara Vasai, Baba's group of companies, Techno Therma, Youth wings of Jogeshwari, Mira-Bhayndar, Andheri, Dombivli and Kalyan Region. 30 Gift vouchers of Rs.1000/- and 12 Gift hampers were sponsored by Dr Sweta Sinha of ALAANA Skin and Hair Clinic from Ghatkopar. Sweta also crowned Mr, Miss and Mrs Popular from the 30 contestants.

AAKANKSHA 2015 was in it's 20th year and Bunts youth wing was started 26 years ago, Youth wing is proud to say that one of the runners up of 1st batch in 1995, is none other than Mr Dayanand Shetty, actor and popularly known as DAYA of CID. there are many more who have made it to the Entertainment Industry.
The Chairperson of Youthwing, Mr.Vivek V. Shetty and his team put up a very good show.
