Mumbai, Dec. 28: “Unification is needed in Brahmins. Our rights can be executed when we become united. We should lead the society by identifying the talents, providing higher education to the children” said - U. N. Aithal the President of Koota Mahajagathu Saligrama, Mumbai.

U. N. Aithal presided over the annual gathering which was held on Sunday at Gokula of Sion (E), BSKB Association.

Dr. Suresh S. Rao Kateel the President of BSKB Association was present as chief guest, B. Narayana the higher officer of Reliance institution was present as honorary guest. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp and reciting Shantimantra. Later the senior Koota relatives of society Seetharatna Navada, B. Sharada Rao and S. Parameshawara were honoured.

“There is no future to Brahmin in Mumbai except Gokula. Government grants are not available for Brahmins. So our society can be developed only if Brahmins support other Brahmins – said Dr. Suresh Rao.

Hundreds of friends and relatives were present in the programme and praised the quarterly published book “Guru Narasimha Vani” published under the under the leadership of P.C. N. Rao and H. K. Karanth.

Secretary P.C. N. Rao welcomed all. Priest Subramanya Aithal chanted hymns. H. K. Karanth the member of Executive Committee introduced the guests. Treasurer Deepak Karath, Ramesh M. Rao and P.C. N. Rao introduced the people who received honour. P.V. Aithal the Vice President presented the stage programme. Nagaratna Holla performed cultural programme. H. K. Karant proposed vote of thanks. Members of the institution and children presented the cultural programme.
