Annual general meeting of Maharashtra Konkan Association

Mumbai, August 21: The Annual General Meeting of Maharashtra Konkan Association was held on Sunday at the auditorium of St. Dominic High School of Ghatkopar Pant.

The President of the Association – Leo Fernandez presided over the meeting. The Parish Priest of St. Jude Church - Rev.Father Nelson Saldanha was appointed as the Spiritual Director of the association. The Secretary – Vincent Castelino, Joint Treasurer – Evjin Rego and other office bearers were present at the dais.

Leo Fernandes said that considering the continuous two decade service of the association, the 20th anniversary celebration of the association will be conducted on May 01, 2015.

Father Nelson Saldanha offered his prayer and wished all and guided everyone through his speech. He said that we have to provide selfless service to the people rather than being selfish. There is no meaning in give and take policy.

The Ex President – Benedicta Rebello gave additional responsibility to the former President – Walter D’Souza Kemmannu. The Secretary – Vincent Castelino welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks at the end.
