PARTICIPATION ITSELF MEANS VICTORY: REV. FR. LANCY PINTO

Mumbai, July 17: Konkani Bhasha Mandal Maharastra conducted talent competitions on account of diamond jubilee celebration at St. Jude School Hall, Kurla(W).

Rev. Fr. Lancy Pinto was present as the chief guest and initiated the competition. Also, he expressed- participation itself means victory. Failure is always a stepping stone to success.

John D’silva- President of Konkani Bhasha Mandal, welcomed the gathering and said- “Every individual has talent, institutions like bhasha mandal motivates to unveil such talents”.

In this event over 200 participants took part in various competitions. Competitions were judged by Flora D’ Souza Jeri Meri, Kum. Judi Pereira and Lancy D’ Souza Niddodi.

John R. Pereira- General Secretary of Bhasha Mandal, Walter D’ Souza- Treasurer, Cyril Castelino- joint treasurer, Lawrence D’ Souza Kamani- Executive Committee Member of Bhasha Mandal, V.D’ Silva Kanjurmarg- Senior poet were present on the dais. Executive Committee Member of Bhasha Mandal- Leo Fernandes welcomed all and Anata Ammembal rendered the vote of thanks.
