“Artists should not be discriminated”- Padmanabha Shetty Pune

Mumbai, November 15: Tulu comedy drama “Aayina Aand Budhdu Budle” was exhibited by artists of Rangamilana Nirekere with the co-ordination of Kishore Shetty Pilar and under the direction of Manohar Shetty Nandalike on Friday at Acharya Athre Auditorium, Pimpri- Pune.

A stage programme was held in the midst, Padmanabha Shetty-the president of Hotel Association Pimpri, Chenchwad was presided over the programme. Santhosh Shetty the treasurer of Bunts Sangha, Pimpri- Chenchwad was the chief guest. Reakesh Shetty Bellare-the vice-president of Hotel Association Pimpri, Chenchwad, Harish Shetty-the treasurer, Prasad Shetty-the Mayor of the Pimpri Chenchwad Municipality, Rakesh Sonavane-the young industrialist and Social worker Jayalaxmi Shetty were present.During the occasion the achievers of various field were honored.

 

In this programme, the famous Yakshagana and theatre artist Shubhangi S Shetty, Social worker Pravin Shetty, Vishvanatha Pujary Kadthala-the vice president of Puna Billawa Sangha and Dr. Suhas Sonavane-the medical officer and young achiever in the field of Medical were honored and wished by elites.

“Artists should not be discriminated by status. They should be treated equally. These dramas are correcting the society. We all should be grateful to all these groups and artists” said Padmanabha Pujary.

Pravin Shetty and Vishvanatha Kadtala expressed their gratitude to the honor they received. This programme was organized with the co-operation of Prakash Shetty Thellar, Sudhir Shetty Kukkundur, Shivaram Shetty (SKF), Dinesh Shetty Ujire, Dinesh Shetty Bajagoli, Jeevan Shetty Dodderangady, Ram Prasad Shetty Muniyal, Prasanna Shetty Bolamaruguthu, Sanjeeva Shetty (nagabrahma Swarget), Kannada and Tulu Associations of Pune city. The programme was led by Sudeep Pujary, the executive president of youth wing of Tulu Koota Pune. South Canara District Rajyothsava Awardee Deeksha Devadiga performed the dance and famous singer Ganesh Yarmal presented the music programme. Sathish Yarmal compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
