‘Baidashri’ The Souvenir of Gujrat Billawa Sangha was released at Baroda

Baroda, November 21: “Service oriented life is a good life; luck creates human life. Our life will become great, if we sacrifice our life to others. If we bring up our children with good values, our community can progress under the efficient leadership. In the same way, life will become lighter, if we avoid the addictions in our life”-said a leading Industrialist and the president of Nasik Billawa Sangha Gangadhar Amin.

Gangadhar Amin was present as the chief guest and he released the souvenir “Baidashri” of Gujarath Billawa Sangha. The programme was organized by Gujarath Billawa Sangha, on Sunday at the auditorium of Baidashri cultural Centre at Alkapur Baroda, Gujarat.

The programme was presided over by Nithyananada Kotian, the president of Billawara Association Mumbai. The former president of Billawa Association and BJP leader L V Amin inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Shashidhara B Shetty- the president of Tulu Sangha Baroda, Jayarama Shetty, the senior writer Shimanthuru Chandrahasa Suvarna and Tulu-Kannada poet Sharada A Anchan were present as chief guests of the function.

The achievers of the community, Bhakthavatsala R Bontra- the founder honorary president of Gujarat Billawa Sangha, Mohan C Pujary-the founder vice president of Gujarat Billawa Sangha and S K Haleangady-the founder convener of Gujarat Billawa Sangha were honored by, “Gujarat Billawa Ratna”(posthumous), “Gujarat Billawa Bhooshana” and “Gujarat Billawa Shree” award respectively. During the occasion Krishna S Anchan also honored. The awardees expressed their views.

Mohan C Pujary Surath, V D Amin Ahmedabad, Krishna Anchan Surat, Maya B Bontra, Saumya Pujary Surat, Vasu P Pujary, Vasu V Suvarna, Vishvanath Pujary Surat, Shobha Dayananda Bontra were present at the dais.

The vice presidents, K S Anchan and Mohan Pujary, Saritha Somanatha Pujary, Revathi Pujary, Chirag Bontra, Dinraj Pujary, Indudas Shetty, Nalini Pujary, Harish M Pujary Ahmadabad, Sunitha Shetty, Mahavir Jain, Madanlal Kumar, Umesh Kotian and Billawa members of Vapi, Surath and Gujaratha, well wishers from Baroda, Ankleshwara, Ahmadabad, Valsad, office bearers and branch heads of other Billawa associations of Gujarat were present.

Ganesh Yarmal and group performed the music programme. Members of Gujarat Billawa Sangha exhibited the cultural programme. The cultural programme was started after offering the pooja to idols of Gayathri Devi, Koti-Chennaya and Brahmashree Narayana Guru.
