Bangalore Archdiocese Diaconate and Priestly ordination 2016

Bengaluru: On Wednesday, 4th May 2016 was a joyful day for the Archdiocese of Bangalore, since Archbishop Bernard moras, conferred five candidates to the order of deacons. The brothers belong to archdiocese and studying for archdiocese they were elevated to order of deacon after completing their third year theological studies, these five brothers studying in three different seminaries.

 

Yet another joyful event in Archdiocese and a good news for Bangalore archdiocese, on Thursday 5th May 2016, Archbishop Bernard moras ordained eight brothers to the order of Priesthood, seven deacons belong to Archdiocese of Bangalore and one deacon belong to sons of divine providence congregation. After a long time of formation these brothers were elevated to become priest on 5th may 2016, at both the days mass were celebrated by Archbishop at 10.00am in St.Francis Xavier’s cathedral parish, Cleveland town, Bangalore, large number of faithful and clergies from archdiocese and religious working in archdiocese participated in the Ordination Eucharistic celebration.
