MOBILE IS THE COSMIC ARRANGEMENT FOR LONELINESS: DR. VEENA BANNANJE
Mumbai, Feb. 08: On the eve of Vidyavachaspathi Dr Bannanje Govindacharya felicitation programme, “Bannanje Tatwa chinthana” programme was organized by the joint association of Sahithya Balaga Mumbai, Billawara Association and Kannada department of Mumbai University at Vidyamanya theertha Mantapa of Narayana Guru auditorium at Santacruz (E).
Kavitha Udupa read the poetries written by Bannanje. Advocate Amitha Bhagavath – the Vice President of Sahitya Association Mumbai gave the information about Kannada translation of Banabhatta’s novel and Dr Mallepuram Venkatesh told about the independent literary works of Bannanje. Dr.Veena Bannanje presented the ‘BannajneThathwa chintana’ programme.
“My father has faith in me. That is a great thing to me. The comparative hope of our life is called religion. Comparison creates everything. Mobile is the cosmic arrangement for loneliness and mobile is a systematic work of a system”-said Dr Veena Bannanje.
“Don’t chase the memories and forget them then and there only, then life becomes meaningful. Identifying the people without caste and creed is a great thing. We should not separate people on the basis of gender, caste, and community. Because all these evil things make our life bitter and harmony will disappear. This will lead our life towards foolishness. So, let us understand the world and let it become our speciality”-Veena Bannanje expressed her views.
During the occasion-Vidyavachaspathy Dr Bannanje Govindacharya, H. B. L. Rao –the President of Sahitya Association Mumbai, N. R. Rao –the Vice President, S. K. Sundar – the Secretary, Nithyananda D. Kotian – the President of Billawa Association, Dharmapal G. Anchan –the Honorary Chief Secretary, Pradeep kumar Kalkura, Dr.Vyasaraya Nijoor, Sudhir R. L. Shetty, Dr.Suneetha M. Shetty, P. V Aithal and other dignitaries were present. G. T Acharya compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
