“Let us show our power in the pages of History”: Sadashiva Bhandary

That is the main feature of this community. The co-operative spirit of this community is exemplary to all. By the support of the community memberswe can achieve every thing” said Udaya Shetty Kanthavara.

The Anniversary celebrations and “Sneha Sammilana” of Bhandary Seva Samithi Mumbai for the year of 2016 was held on Sunday at St. Lawrence School auditorium, Wagle Estate, Thane. Udaya Shetty inaguarated the programme by lighting the lamp.

The programme was held under the presidentship of Advocate Shekar S Bhandary. Dharmapal U Devadiga-the president of Akhila Bharatha Tulu Okkuta, Bollywood actor Harish Vasu Shetty, Kadandale Suresh S Bhandary-the president of Kachuru Shri Nageshwara Temple, Barkuru, Sadashiva Bhandary Sakaleshpura -the president of Bhandary Maha Mandala were present and distributed scholarship to the students of the community and talent awards to Salogi S Bhandary, Swathi S Bhandary, Navin Bhandary, Kunal Bhandary, Saurab Suresh Bhandary. The guests honored Umesh Hegde Kadthala, Kishor Pilar, Nagaraja Gurupura, Rajesh Hegde, Harish Hegde, Manohar Shetty Nandalike.

Dharmapala Devadiga, Suresh Bhandary, Harish Vasu Shetty and Sadashiva Bhandary expressed their views. “The anniversaries are opportunities to strengthen a community. By the development of stronger communities, we can build a strong nation” said Shekhar Bhandary in his presidential speech.

Vijaya R Bhandary, Karunakara B Bhandary, Advocate Sundar G Bhandary and Shobha suresh Bhandary were present at the dais.

Riya Ranjith Bhandary recited the prayer, Advocate R M Bhandary welcomed all. Shashidhar Bhandary introduced the guests. Purushothama J Bhandary and Saritha K Bangera compered the stage programme. Prabhakar P Bhandary proposed the vote of thanks.

On the eve of the celebration,the members from the community exhibited cultural programme and Tulu drama “Malthinakulu thinper”. Jayasheela Bhandary and group from Udupi performed “Mayada Daiva” - a comedy drama.
