Mumbai, Nov 18: The 81st branch of The Bharat Co-operative Bank Limited (Mumbai) was inaugurated on Wednesday morning at Mid Town Heights Building, Jetalpur Road, Alkapuri, Baroda Rly Station, Gujarat. Jaya C Suvarna – the executive president of Bharat Bank and the president of Rashtriya Billawara Mahamandala, along with Rashmi Behen Patil of Gayatri family inaugurated the new branch. Dayananda Bontra-the founder president of Gujarat Billawa Sangha initiated the branch officially by lighting the lamp.

Jayaram S Shetty-ex president of Tulu Sangha Baroda, V D Amin Ahmedabad-vice president of Gujarat Billawa Sangha, Vasu V Suvarna-honorary chief secretary of Billawa Sangha Baroda, author SK Haleyangadi, Industrialists Manoj M Poojary, Yusub Matedar, Naveen Dalmia, Krishnakant R Shah, Suryakant Vyas were present as honorary guests. Advocate Rohini J Salian-the executive vice president of the bank inaugurated the ATM services, Pushpalatha N Salian-senior director of the bank inaugurated the locker facility and wished good luck to the overall development of the branch.

Prajapati Rashmi Behen blessed everyone saying “Let Bharat Bank become an aid to the betterment of the people. Let people get help from it during their difficult times. Let this bank help the people to lead a good life.”

Dayananda Bontra said, “This bank is growing like a banyan tree and is a refugee for the common men. Now it has entered the city of Baroda to serve the people here. We really feel proud. Let the people of Baroda get a good service from this bank.”

Jayaram Shetty shared his views and said, “Our dream has come true. Baharat bank has started working at Baroda. Service is more important than number. This bank has proved this. Let this bank take care of the people and become a tool in the development of people in this city.”

“Bharat bank is developing like our country India. Let it open hundred branches throughout Gujarat. We say India is ours, in the same way let us make Bharat bank ours and co-operate in the development of this bank” said, industrialist Vijay Kumar Shetty.

Naveen Dalmia and Krishnakanth R shah spoke and wished good luck to the bank saying “let it serve the nation with hundreds of branches”.

Shreya Shettigar, Akanksha Bhusul, Krishna Shethna, Shankar Narlekar, honoured the Dhananjaya Palan by offering flower bouquet. Jaya C Suvarna honoured Smt Rashmi Behen Patil and Dayanada Bontra couple by offering the Shawl, fruits and flower.
