Mumbai, July 25: The general sub-committee of Billawa Association Mumbai conducted blood donation and health check-up camp at Billawa Association Santacruz (E). Nithyananda D. Kotian – the president of the association and Chandravathi E. Suvarna – the social worker inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and wished good luck.

The blood donation camp was conducted with the co-operation of GoregaonPrabhodanTakreblood bank. Doctors informed that approximately 200 people participated in this blood donation camp and 195 units of blood have been collected. Dr. Asha Padvi congratulated all the camp co-ordinators. More than 80 members of the Sevadal donated the blood.

Doctors of Raksha Hospital performed the health check-ups. Famous heart specialist Dr. Pranav S. Kabra, Eye specialist Dr.Shyama Agarwal, Dr.Sadananda R. Shetty, ENT specialist Dr. Suresh Poojary and others were present and examined Blood pressure, Thyroid, Diabetes, Cholesterol, ECG, ENN, BMD including many other diseases.
