Condolences for the sad demise of Sudhir G Amin at Billawa Bhavana

MARTYR SUDHIR AMIN HAS ATTAINED MAXIMUM ACHIEVEMENTS IN A MINIMUM PERIOD OF TIME

Mumbai, May 23: The Billawara Association Mumbai has organized an obituary programme to Late Sudhir Amin who is basically from Nitte Daddodi of Karkala of Dakshina Kannada District and was working as an efficient and disciplined higher officer of Fire Brigade of Greater Mumbai and who died recently in the rescue operation in a fire accident that occurred in a building last week at Kalbadevi region. The obituary programme was held at Shri Narayana Guru Auditorium at Santacruz (East) on Saturday evening.

The President of Billawara Association Mumbai – Nithyananda D Kotian, office bearers and the Former Executive President of Bharat Bank run by the Association – V R Kotian and the Honorary Editor of the monthly magazine ‘Akshaya’ – M B Kukyan poured flowers to the photo of demised Sudhir Amin.

“Sudhir Amin was a disciplined higher officer, who got awards from President, Prime Minister, Governor and Chief Minister and was loved by all the people and died recently in a rescue operation while saving the life of his colleagues in a fire accident that happened recently. We feel proud that the great martyr belongs to Billawa community. He was a great man with commitment and sensitiveness. He was providing services with smiling face. In recognition of all his qualities, he was felicitated earlier at this auditorium by Billawara Association”, said Nithyananda D Kotian.

The Vice Presidents of the association – Chandrashekhar S Poojary, C T Salian and Baskar M Salian, Hon. Chief Secretary – Dr. U Dhananjaya Kumar, Joint Secretaries – Shankar D Poojary, Dhananjay S Kotian, Mahesh Karkala, Joint Treasurers – Dharmapal G Anchan, Jayanthi V Ullal and the Head of Sevadal – Ganesh K Poojary and many others were present and poured flowers to the photo of the demised martyr Sudhir Amin.

V R Kotian said, “Sudhir, a broad minded person was a man with brave personality. Though I was not much familiar with him, I heard about his performances. When he was alive, people who knew about him were very less, but after his demise, many people came to know about him. He attained maximum achievements in a minimum period of time and his spotless services are unique. He was having interest in public services and was an incomparable efficient officer who had close relationship with people belonging to different communities, languages, industries, etc.”

Well wishers – G M Kotian, Harish M Kumar, Chandrashekhar Belchada, V R Kotian, M B Kukyan, Ranjan Kumar, Jayanthi V Ullal, G T Acharya, Baskar M Salian, Shankar K Suvarna, Damodara Kundar, friends – Sunil Banerji, Prabhakar Gavde, Shivarama S Kotian Kalina and others delivered contextual speech and offered homage to the departed soul.

During the meeting, the uncle of Sudhir – Dhananjaya Alke, family’s Shashidhar Alke, Dinesh Karkera, Suresh Bangera, Managing Director of Bharat Bank – C R Mulki, Chief General Manager – Anilkumar R Amin and well wishers – Rohidas S Bangera, K P Aravind, Thimmappa Bangera, Sudhakar Uchil, Shridhar S Suvarna, Raja V Salian, Ganesh V Suvarna, Ananda C Kotian, Suresh Shetty Yeyyadi, Devendra Bangera Khar and many others were present and offered homage to the departed soul.

The gathered peopled prayed, “May the God grant peace to the departed soul of Sudhir Amin who died at National Fire Nursing Unit at Airoli of Navi Mumbai on May 14 when he was performing rescue operation against fire that occurred in a building at the surrounding of Kalbadevi of Southern Mumbai”.

The family members of Sudhir expressed their appreciation about the services of office bearers of Billawara Association after Sudhir’s death till date, for comforting the family and organizing the obituary programme, etc. The Hon. Chief Secretary – Dr. U Dhananjaya Kumar compered the meeting.
