Dubai: Karaval Milan, Dubai Celebrated Monthi Festh.

Dubai, 23 Sept: Karaval Milan, Dubai celebrated the traditional ‘Monthi Feast’ also known as ‘The Feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary’on 12th Sept 2015 at Quick Bite, Restaurant in Deira, Dubai.

Fr. Robert Lasrado, the spiritual Director of Konkani community, St. Mary’s Church Dubai graced the celebration as a special guest. Addressing the gathering Fr. Lasrado appreciated the unity among Karaval Milan members as people from various parishes working together.

Children entered the hall in a procession to offer the flowers to Mother Mary. Then gathering sang traditional Konkani hymns like ‘SokkodSangataMellean’ and ’MoriyekHogollsiyan’, children showered the flowers to Mother Mary.

Eric D’souza, Ronny Byndoor, Gretta D’souza, Shiny D’souza & Goldina entertained the gathering with melodious Konkani songs. Wilson D’sa conducted various games of children and adults. Prices were distributed to the winners.

The program started with a warm welcome from President Naveen D’souza & compared by James Pius.
