The feast of St Antony at dornahalli shrine was a mark faith in God and devottion to St Antony.The Festal Celebration was precided over by Rt. Rev. Dr Thomas Antony Vazhpillai (Bishop Of Mysore) Rev Fr Mari Joseph (VG) and several other priests from around the diocese and various religious congregations.

in the homily Bishop gave a call to be the like Saint Antony in this Year of mercy. he said "we should develop the love for gad and have strong faith as Saint Antony and only then we will be able to attain mercy and show mercy to others"

"Visit to shrines are very important and these help to strengthen and deepen our faith, Forgiveness doesn't mean that there is no Justice, but Forgiveness and justice goes hand in hand" he said.

as a preparation for the feast novenas were held from 6th of June. Devotees flocked in thousands and has been an event to cherish devotion towards the miraculous St Antony.

Rev Fr Gilbert D'Silva was Felicitated by the bishop of mysuru for the wonderful service provided by him in the shrine for 6 years.
