Mumbai, January 29: Tulu-Kannada Welfare Association of Mira-Bhyander and Siriwara Cultural Academy of Bangalore have jointly organized “Kalarava-2016” on Saturday, 4th February at 4PM at Mira ground Auditorium, Poonam Sagar Complex, Mira Road (E).

The programme will be started with Shri Sathyanarayana Pooja, at 4PM. After that “Kalarava-2016” will be conducted under the guidance of A K Harish-the president of TKWA. The higher officials of USA Home ministry-Ravi Pilar and Sandhya Pilar will inaugurate the programme.

During the occasion, “Minchina Honchu”- the collection of stories of Shakunthala R Prabhu, “Vasu” poetry collection of Dr. P M Bhujanga and “Manolahari” poetry collection of Ganesh Karkala- published by Swara print and publication will be released by Chandrashekhara Palethady-the president of Kannadiga journalist association of Maharashtra.

“Kural-Thorana Mantapa” will be inaugurated during the “Kalarava” program. The Kalarava programme will be conducted under the guidance of Ravi R Anchan and Prof Arun Mhatre. Girish B Salian, Sanat Kumar Dubai, Dr. Shiva M Moodigere, Pravin J Bhat, Suresh S Kanchan, Santhosh G Puthran will be present as guests.

Mr Ronnes Bantwal will be inaugurating the “Tribhasha Kavyothsava”, P V Bhaskar, Payaru Ramesh Shetty; N K Billawa will be present as chief guests. Devadas P Salian, Pramodini Mada, Ramesh Shivapura(Tulu), Subraya Bhat, Gopala Trasi, Ravindranath Siriwara(Kannada), Prof.Arun Mhathre, Ashok Naygaunkar, Anupama Ujgare(Marati) will present the poetry. During the opening and ending of each session dance, music, Kalarava Mantapa-short skitt will be performed. After Sathyanarayana poja, prasadam will be distributed. Leela Ganesh Karkala-the honorary chief secretary of the association, has requested all Art and Culture fans of the metro city to participate in this event and to extend their co-operation to the success of the programme.
