G.T. ACHARYA IS A VERY TALENTED PERSON: PAYYARU RAMESH SHETTY

Mumbai, October 14: The 60th greeting ceremony of Mr. G T Acharya, a friend of Tulu-Kannadigas, cultural activist, former president of Karnataka Vishwakarma Association Mumbai and Goregaon Karnataka Associations was held on Sunday at Dr. M Vishweswaraiah auditorium of Matunga (W).

The greeting ceremony was inaugurated in the morning by Payyaru Ramesh Shetty, the President of Veerakesari Kalavrundha Mumbai by lighting the lamp. The members of various associations and organizations performed cultural programmes, dance, yakshaghana, etc. in the middle, documentary film ‘G.T.A artistic life’ was exhibited.

Payyaru Ramesh Shetty said, “G T Acharya is a very talented person. He keeps brotherhood contact with everyone. He is very much interested in social service, cultural and religious services and is straight forward. This programme for a person who is the symbol of harmonious co-ordination and loved by all is a meaningful one. Though we feel sad that he is 60 years old and is getting away from youthfulness, we feel happy to say that he is becoming a senior citizen who guides us and sets as a model to all. Let him contribute more and more social services throughout the future. Let him have hundred years of life” and he wished him on behalf of everyone.

The Honorary President of the Greeting Ceremony – Shridhar V Acharya released the Kolaj board of the published reports of the service moments in the life of G T Acharya and also thanked the people who prepared this by offering flower bouquets to Pradeep Acharya, Sandhya P Acharya, Nithin Acharya and Sharad Acharya.
