THE EFFECT OF CHINNARA BIMBA ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF LAND AND LANGUAGE IS COMMENDABLE: SURESH SHETTY

Mumbai: “Today’s children are the pillars of our future nation. A building should have a strong foundation. Along with education, we should teach conduct and culture to our children. Once upon a time, in our nation there was an affluent of conduct and culture. But today we have forgotten everything, and have become modern. We have forgotten our self-respect. In this situation, here in this land of Maharashtra the institution like Chinnara Bimba, has been working with the guidance of Prakash Bhandary, this is a matter of pride.

After watching this programme a question is raised in my mind-that if I had an opportunity to be a part of institution like this in my childhood I also might have learnt Tulu-Kannada”..

Suresh Shetty, spoke these words after lighting the lamp at the inaugural function of 13th children annual festival of Chinnara Bimba, on January 2 at Radhabai T Bhandary auditoriumat Kurla (E). He said “here a thing attracted me is children’s uniform. The children of Chinnarabimba, who mingle each other without having any discrepancy, are the real asset of our nation”.

Karnire Vishwanatha Shetty presided over the function; he said “childhood is an important stage of our life. In this stage, if we plant good things in their mind, they will grow up as good citizens. I am surprised by seeing the discipline in children here at Chinnarabimba.

By their discipline itself, in any place we can recognize them as they are from Chinnarabimba. Through their work, they are protecting our culture and language. Let this deed of Prakash Bhandary, in this land of Maharashtra become a role-model to others”

Jayaram Shetty-the executive president of S M S Shetty Institutions-managed by Bantara Sangha was present as a chief guest and said “the young children exhibited their talents. By knowing that, Chinnarabimba is performing a good job”.

Children with excellent talents always lack opportunities. The cultural festival here is comprised with discipline, and each programme was excellent. We should support Prakash Bhandary for this wonderful job”.

“Nowadays one can see evil things everywhere. Internet is misguiding the children. But I have seen the students of Chinnarabimba are always busy with their study and training camp. Every Sunday these children, without wasting their time learn the language. For any child, culture is required along with education. This moral education is being taught by Chinnarabimba, and they are spreading the fragrance of Kannada in Mumbai and we definitely feel proud” said Nithyananda Kotian –the president of Billawara Association.
