Inauguration of “Gokul Projects Vision 2020” at Shanmukhananda Auditorium

Mumbai, December 2:” India is the land of sensible people. The culture is the lifeline of the devotees of this land. The sacred rituals like Shrinivasa Kalyanothsava are enhancing the wealth. So, to overcome the darkness of ignorance and to create sensible citizens this kind of sacred programmes are essential”- wished Shri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji-the Seer of Madhvacharya Maha samsthan-head of the Pejawar Adhokshaja mutt Udupi.

Shri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji said these words while inaugurating “Gokul Projects Vision-2020”- a huge project of BSKBA institution. He attended “Shri Shrinivasa kalyanothsava” programme, held on Sunday by BSKB Association Mumbai(Gokula) in association with Thirumala Thirupathi Devasthanam, at Shri Shanmukhananda Chandrashekharendra Saraswathi auditorium at King circle of Sion(E).

This is a programme for the welfare of the Mumbaites. Everyone participated in this function are blessed. Such programmes are necessary for the devotees. These programs supplement the unity of the Hindu society. Sri Venkateshwara incarnated in India and he is a savior of everyone. These enhance the spiritual wealth. Let such rituals bring peace and happiness among our countrymen” blessed Pejawara seer.


The priest of Thirumala Thirupathi Temple-Venugopala Deekshithar, B R Nagaraj Rao, Ananth Acharya conducted the religious programmes ritually, blissfully and distributed the mahaprasadam and blessed the devotees. The president of BSKBA -Dr. Suresh S Rao Kateel and Vijayalakshmi Suresh, the executive president of kalyanothsava committee Pernankila Haridas Bhat and Poornima Haridas, The trustee member of Gopalakrishna Public trust-B Ramananda Rao and Lakshmi Ramanand Rao couples led the pooja rituals.

During the programme, Supreme Court retired judge justice B N Shrikrishna, president of Shri Shanmukhananda trust-V Shankar, The project chief of Thirupathi Shri Shrinivasa Kalyanothsava-Ashok Kumar, industrialist Mahesh Vadva, L V Ami, Jayakrishna Shetty, Ravindranatha M Bhandary and other celebrities were present.

BSKBA vice-presidents Vaman Holla and P Umesh Rao, Honarary treasurer CA Haridas Bhat, joint secretary Chandrashekar Bhat and Prashanth Herle, joint treasurer kusuma Shrinivas and Avinash Shastri, wemen’s wing executive president Shailini Rao, trustee members of Gopalakrishna Public Trust-A S Rao, R L Bhat, Krishna Acharya, Dr Vyasaraya Ninjur and other office bearers and members were present at the occasion.

Shri Venkateshwara, Shridevi and Bhoodvedi who were brought from Tirupati were received with procession, kumbhaswagata and all other traditions. Later they were brought to Shanmukhananda auditorium and pooja was offered. The priests from Thirupathi temple distributed the Thirupathi laddu prasadam. Devotees sought blessings from Lord Venkateshwara of Tirupati.

The president of BSKBA Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel welcomed and said “the results of projects will become a boon to the society”. The executive president of Kalyanothsava committee-Pernankila Haridas bhat delivered the introductory speech. Maithrini Rao Udupi and G. Munilakshmi and group sang the devotional songs. S Muralidhar compered the Kalyanothsava programme. The chief priest of Gokula mandir Hari bhat conducted the poooja. BSKBA honarary chief secretary P C N Rao proposed the vote of thanks.
