Inauguration of ‘OLUME’ Program of Billawara Association Mumbai

Mumbai, Feb.27: Mayor Kavitha Sanil inaugurated the Program ‘Olume’ which was organized by Mumbai Billawara Association women’s wing at Narayanaguru auditorium, Santacruz.

The program was held in the presidency of Nithyananda D. Kotian- the President of the association and led by Shakunthala K. Kotian- the President of women’s wing. Ranjani Sudhakar Shetty- the President of Bunts association Mumbai was the chief guest and Jayanthi V. Ullal- the former president of women’s wing was present on the Dais as the guests of honor.

Nithyananda Kotian addressed the gathering by rendering his presidential speech. Ranjani Hegde and Mayor Kavitha Sanil expressed their views regarding the event.

In the middle of the program seminar was conducted in the presidency of senior litterateur of Mumbai, Dr Sunitha M Shetty, on the topic “Women of the future- Anxiety- Solution”.

Divija Chandrashekar of Thiya Samaja Mumbai, Dr G P Kusuma- the editor of Mogaveera monthly magazine, the award winning poet- Anitha P Poojary Takode participated in the occasion and presented their opinion.

The Women members of various associations presented Dances, Music, Folk songs and other entertainment. During this moment, famous social worker – Pramila G. Poojary, the Women president of BSKB association- Prema S. Rao, the women president of Ganiga samaja, Mumbai- Thara N. Bhatkal, Sarojini Shettigar- the president of Padmashali social service association, Rajivi Kanchan- the women president of Mogaveer managing committee, the women president of Devadiga Sangha Mumbai- Jayanthi R. Moily, the women president of Bhandary Seva Samithi - Shobha Suresh Bhandary, the women president of Kulal Association Mumbai- Mamatha S. Gujaran, the women president of Thiya samaja Mumbai- Latha D. Ullal, the women president of Karnataka Vishwakarma Association – Shobha S. Acharya, the women president of Rajaka Sangha Mumbai- Sarojini D. Kunder, the women president of Bombay Bunts association Sharadha Shyama Shetty and the women president of Saaphalya Seva Sangha- Shobha V. Bangera were present as the guests of honor.
The Vice-president of the association -Raja V. Salian, Dr. U. Dhananjaya Kumar and Purushotham S. Kotian, the Honorable general treasurer Mahesh C. Karkala, the head of Yuva Abhyudaya Samithi- Nilesh Palimar, Udaya Poojary and others were present in the occasion.

The Joint secretaries Lakshmi S Poojary and Dr Geethanjali L. Salian and hundreds of women were present during the program. Akshaya monthly magazine editor Harish Hejmady introduced the guests. The Women's wing vice president Vilasini K.Salian and Prabha K.Bangera offered bouquets to the guests and honored them. Dharmapal G. Anchan welcomed everyone and compered the programme. Honorary general secretary Sumitra S Bangera proposed the vote of thanks.
