“MANISHADA” YAKSHAGANA-BAYALATA SHOW IN UNION WITH ELITE ARTISTS

Mumbai, November 16: Yaksha dhruva Patla Foundation of Mumbai committee was inaugrated on Sunday evening at Smt.Radhabhai T Bhandary auditorium of Bantara bhavana, at Kurla(E). Famous yakshagana Bhagavath Sathish Shetty Patla took the leadership of the programme and the president of Yaksha dhruva Patla Foundation of Mumbai committee-Karnire Vishwanataha Shetty presided over the function and inaugurated the Mumbai committee by lighting the lamp. 

During this occasion-industrialist Jaya C Suvarna, Daddangady Chelladka Kusumodara D Shetty, Inna Kurkilabettu Santhosh Shetty (Pune), Police Officer Prakash B Bhandary, Latha Jayaram Shetty were present and felicitated Kallady Deviprasad Shetty-a great devotee of art and manager of 6 melas of Kateelu Shri Durga Parameshwari Dashawathara Yakshagana Mandali. Karinire Vishwanatha shetty and Latha Vishwanatha Shetty were honored during the occasion.

The programme was led by the co-ordination of Aikala Ganesh Shetty and Ashok Shetty Permude, the honarary presidents of Yaksha dhruva Patla Foundation of Mumbai Committee –Aikala Harish Shetty, Suresh S Bhandary Kadandale, Vice-president Yermal Harish Shetty, Rathnakar Shetty Mundkur, Ravindranatha M Bhandary, Indrali Diwakara Shetty, Hon.chief secretary Ashok Pakkala, Hon.treasurer Pravin B Shetty, joint secretary Karnuru Mohan Rai and other office bearers were present.

On the eve of the function, as a token of gift “Manishada” yakshagana-bayalata of Savyasachi Bottikere Purushothama Poonja was performed by the famous artist of Kateelu Shri Durgaparameshwari Prasaditha Yakshagana Mandali accomapanied by the famous Bhagavath Sathish Shetty Patla.
