DR. CHANDRASHEKAR SHENOY MUMBAI CONFERRED WITH SAHITYA ACADEMY AWARD
Mumbai, Jan. 19: “With the collaboration of Gomanthak Maratha Samaj Goa, Ukati Vedike and Arts Academy of Kampala, 30th All India Konkani Parishad will be held from 22nd – 24th January (Friday to Sunday), at the open auditorium of Kala Academy at Late J. B. Moraes (Mumbai) Nagar, Panaji, Goa”- informed Usha Rane- the executive President of All India Konkani Parishad.

In the evening, Gokuldas Prabhu - the President of All India Konkani Parishad will be presiding over the programme and Lakshmikanth Parsekar – the Chief Minister of Goa, will be inaugurating the Sahitya Academy and conferring the award to Dr.Chandrashekara N. Shenoy – renowned theatre expert of Konkani Triveni Kala Sangam Mumbai and will be releasing the 30th souvenir of the Parishad.
Sunita Kanekar – the Honorary Chief Secretary of All India Konkani Parishad informed that Justice Ramachandra M. S. Khandeparkar- the retired Justice of Supreme Court, will be present as honorary guest, Siddarth Kumkalkar – the MLA of Panaji constituency, Shubham Chodnakar –the Mayor of Panaji Municipality and others will be arriving for the programme. Gokuldas Prabhu – the President of Parishad informed that the young journalist, Rons Bantwal Mumbai has been invited as a special reporter.
