KCWA Talent competition 2015

Kuwait: The KCWA Talent Competition was held on Friday, 20th November at the Indian Community School, Khaitan. The event began at 2 pm with the prayer by Managing Committee members followed by classroom events such as coloring competition, painting competition, collage competition, Photograph ‘Best Moments’ Contest, Puzzles competition, Vegetable or fruit carving, Tea time snack recipe with beaten rice(Poha).

The classroom events were judged by Dr. Vinod Kumar, Mr. Guruprasad Hegde, Mr. Anil Avil Fernandes, Mrs. Melantha Tanaji, Mrs. Shilpa Tyagi, Mr. Trevor Howard Pachaco, Mr. Yadunath Alva, Mrs. ShilpaTyagi, Mr. Vasudeva Poojary, Mr. Donald John D’cunha and Mrs. Iris D’Silva. The Fancy dress competitions on the themes ‘My Favorite Fruit’ and ‘Best Costume out of Waste’ was judged by Mrs. Cynthia Lobo, Mrs. Shobha Harisha Bhandary, Mrs. Lucy D’Souza, Mr. Felix Saldanha.

After the Fancy Dress competitions, the solo and group dance events were held which was judged by Mr. Vickey Tanaji, Mrs.Shalini Yadunath Alva and Advocate Priya Haridas.

In the stage programme, President Albert Praveen Menezes welcomed the gathering followed by prize distribution and felicitation of judges.

The final event of the day was the entertainment act which was judged by Mr. PurandaraManchi, Mr. Felix Saldanha and Mrs. Ida D’silva.

The event was coordinated by Mr. Satish Saldanha and Mrs. Linette D’Souza along with Ms. Freya Saldanha and Mr. Steevan Misquith who carried out registration & compilation process and was well supported by rest of the Managing Committee members.

KCWA wishes to thank the management of ICSK for the school premises, Waves Event Engineering for the sound, Mr. PremCrasto and Mr. Alban D'souza for photography and Blue Ray Digitals for video coverage, the judges who graced the event and most importantly to all those who came forward and participated, making this event a grand success.
