Karnataka Sangha Sharjah Elects Anand Bailoor as President for the year 2018-19

Sharjah: Karnataka Sangha Sharjah one of the oldest association for Kannadigas in the UAE have been serving for the past 15 years promoting Kannada in this part of the world in their various activities.

The Committee met recently to elect the new office bearers for the year 2018-19 and one of the senior stalwart of the Sangha, Anand Bailoor has been unanimously chosen as the new President of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah. One more senior member, M.E. Moolur is being elected as the Vice President while active worker Noel D. Almeida is being elected as the General Secretary.

The following are the main office bearers:-

President – Anand Bailoor
Vice President – M.E. Moolur
General Secretary – Noel D’Almeida

Joint Secretary – Vishwanath Shetty
Treasurer – Sashikanth Kanangi
Entertainment Secretary – Rajesh Kuthar
Sports Secretary – Jeevan Kuckian
Joint Secretary – Sports – Sandeep Rao

All the office bearers accepted their responsibilities and took oath with the guidance of Patron Mark Denis D’Souza. Advisory Committee comprising of Praveen Kumar Shetty, Harish Sherigar, B.K. Ganesh Rai, Prabhakar Ambalthere, Satish Poojary, past President Sugandh Raj Bekal & Ananth Raman witnessed the oath taking.

The meeting started with condolence prayer to late Basanth Bekal, one of the active member of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, who left for heavenly abode recently.

The Committee meeting concluded with vote of thanks.
