Konkani film “Nashibacho Khel” Exhibited in Mumbai

Mumbai, October 03: The latest Konkani Film “Nashibacho Khel” which was produced under the banner -Canaraits Youth Association Mumbai Films Pvt Ltd (CAM) founded by Konkani Drama writer and theatre expert Henry D’silva Surathkal was displayed as a Premier show on Saturday evening at Maxes theatre at Jerimeri.

Bishop Very Rev. Persiwal J E Fernandes of Mumbai Diocese blessed and inaugurated the film show in Mumbai. In this programme Mr. Albert W D’souza-the executive president of Model Bank, Francis Fernandes Cassia-theatre artist and director, John D’silva – the president of the FUDAR, singer Nephi Rood were present as the chief guests.

Bishop Persiwal appreciated the Canaraits Youth Association Mumbai for its service in the field of arts and he said this film is a lucky film of Konkani Language. Language is developed through films. If the public watch the film many times the language also will develop. He wished good luck for the new film.

Rev.Fr.Lancy Pinto- the parish priest of St.Jude Church, Fr.Gabriel Maria- the parish priest of Sacred Heart Church, Andheri (E). Rev. Fr. Lawrence Correa, Fr.John Serrao, Rev.Fr.Nelson Saldana-the parish priest of Infant Jesus Church, Panth Nagar, Rev.Fr.Philip Gonsalves-Parish Priest of Our Lady Of Fatima, Vidya Vihar Church, Fr.Cajithan Pereira, Francis Tony Almeida –the director of Royston Films, director Harry Fernandes, actors William Machado, Francis Olivera, Helen Noronha Miraroad, Felix D’souza Malvani, Lawrence Coelho -editor of Divo and Leo Fernandes were present in the programme and honored the guests with bouquet.

Mr Henry D’silva and Harry Fernandes produced and directed “Nashibacho Khelh” film respectively. Multi-talented Elton Mascarenhas acted as Hero and famous singer Ester Noronha as heroin. Ranjitha Lewis, Alwyn Andrade Pandeshwar, Sujatha Lewis, Stany Alvares, Arunraj and others are in supporting roles.

Henry D’silva Surathkal delivered the introductory speech and proposed the vote of thanks. Rons Bantwal welcomed and compered the programme. From today onwards (2nd October to 6th October), this film will be displayed at Maxes theatre, Jerimari at 6.30 PM. The tickets are available online or can be go from the box office of Maxes – said Henry D’silva.
