Kuwait: TKK witnesses generous donors at blood donation camp

Kuwait, Apr 6: Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK) organized a blood donation camp recently as part of 56th Kuwait National Day and 26th Kuwait Liberation day, at Kuwait Central Blood Bank, Jabriya.

TKK indulges itself in various welfare activities which benefit the society in Tulunadu as well as in Kuwait. The blood donation camp is one among them, as an attempt to pay back to society under the caption 'Share a little, care a little'.

This noble task, the blood donation camp was symbolically inaugurated by TKK president Wilson D’Souza and former president Chandrahasa Shetty, the key person behind meeting the blood bank official and making necessary arrangements, while welfare officer Shankar Shetty successfully coordinated the event.

Members of TKK and other associations took an active part in this noble task. Around 70 participants donated their blood with contentment. Tulu Koota Kuwait issued certificates to all the donors in appreciation for their contribution along with fruit and fruit juice. The committee members present at the camp contributed in various ways towards its success.

President Wilson D’Souza thanked all the staff members of the Kuwait Central Blood Bank for their kind cooperation towards the success of camp.
