Makara Sankramana Celebration at Ravalpada Durgaparameshwari Temple

Mumbai, Jan. 16: Makara Sankramana was celebrated at Shree Durgaparameshwari and Shanishwara Temple at Ravalpada, Dahisar (E) on Thursday under the convenorship of Shree Shani Mahatma Seva Samiti, Gokulnagar.

Haldi-Kumkum programme was performed by women on account of Makara Sankranti. The President Shekhar P. Shetty, the Vice President Santhosh K. Poojary, the Honorary Chief Secretary Lakshman M. Poojary, the Joint Secretary Deepak K. Poojary, the Honorary Treasurer - Advocate Soumya C. Poojary, the Joint Treasurer Umesh S. Amin, Office bearers Ravi, M. Amin, Karunakara M. Amin, Sundar S. Poojary, Sumithra S. Poojary, Chandrashekar A. Poojary, Sunanda B. Shetty, Rajeevi K. Poojary, Prabha R. Hegde, Sunita A. Suvarna, Veena C. Poojary, Shobha P. Kotian, and members of women’s committee were present.

Rangapooja, Bhajans were performed by members of the committee in the evening. Annadana and other services were conducted by Jaya Swami Gundyadka. Guru Shankar Bhat and Shankar Guru Bhat, the chief priests of the temple performed Pooja rituals and blessed the devotees.
