KATEELU SHREE DURGA PARAMESHWARI DEVI WAS INSULTED- MEETING AT MUMBAI

Mumbai, Sep.10: Kateelu Devi is a reflection of Kamadhenu. The sages and saints are more interested in building the temples than serving and protecting the society. I am not blaming anyone. But it is necessary to bring awareness in the society. We should unite together. Ours is a multi religion country so these type of incidents happen due to lack of tolerability towards other religion. It is unlucky that educated are involved in such kind of filthy acts. This meeting is held not only for condemning the deed but to spread awareness in the society to respect all religions irrespective of cast, religion etc. – said Sri Mohandas Paramhamsa Swamiji of Sri Dhama Manila Sri Mahalaxmi Kshetra.

He was addressing the people inaugurating a meeting at Muktananda Auditorium, Kurla to protest the insult to Kateelu Shri Durgaparameshwari Devi in social media, face book etc. Prabhakar L Shetty chaired the meeting which was held under the leadership of Aikala Harish Shetty.

Kateelu Devi is a goddess of peace. Inspired by this we are also protesting this act in a peaceful way. All associations of Mumbai have come together. In future also we should unite together whenever there is threat to our religion or culture – said Prabhakar Shetty.

Aikala Harish Shetty welcomed all and said we cannot bear the insult made to Durga Devi. We hope such incident will never repeat in future.The office bearers of Bunts Sangha honored Swamiji.
