The annual award was presented by optimal media solutions company Times Power Man. Bollywood Actress Dia Mirza, chief guest in the programme held at Imperial auditorium, Lower Parel on Wednesday, December 26 presented the award to Anand Shetty and his Son Pravir Shetty wished them well.

Anand Shetty Chairman & Managing Director of Organic Group of Companies, is the son of Late Monappa Shetty and Late Laxmi Shetty of Tonse (Udupi, Karnataka), Born in a reputed Bunt family, had his basic Education in Hindu higher elementary school and Govt. He joined a reputed packaging company in Mumbai after Graduation & Materials management as management trainee, after the extensive and successful training for two years in various depts., he joined a multinational cosmetic company M/s. Max Factor as head of purchase and new product development.

During his engagement with Max Factor, he was exposed to the entire spectrum of industrial world, where in he interacted with who’s who in the corporate world and gained rich knowledge in various industrial manufacturing segments.

A stint of 7 Years exposure with Max factor, Mr Shetty gained rich knowledge in industrial mfg- such as-- cosmetics, plastics, Paper, Glass, Metal and Chemicals, which added the confidence to dream Mr. Shetty to set up his own venture. In the year 1980 Mr.Shetty’s thought process started to set up his own industry and drawn road map to convert his dream into reality
