Non-Resident-Indian Leeladhar Baikampady honoured with Prestigious ‘Rastreeya Ektaa Award’ at ‘National Unity Celebration’ in New Delhi

New Delhi: Bahrain based Non-Resident-Indian, the dynamic youth leader Leeladhar Baikampady has received the prestigious national level award, the ‘Rastreeya Ektaa Puraskar’ for his invaluable contributions towards the fields of youth organizing and social service. He has received this coveted award from Former [Multi-States] Governor & Union Minister Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh at the glorious ‘National Unity Celebration’ held recently in Teen Murthi Bhavan, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

 

This award presentation ceremony was the prime part of national symposium on ‘Iron Man of India - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’ organized by New Delhi based ‘All India National Unity Council’. In the beginning of the Symposia, the Council president, former Chief Election Commissioner of India Dr. GVG Krishnamurthy has given the keynote address. Consequently, Dr. GVG Krishnamurthy has honoured the selective achievers including Leeladhar Baikampady with gold medals in recognition of their exemplary achievements made in multidimensional fields of social spectrum.

Subsequently, other distinguished guests Dr. T. N. Chaturvedi [Former Governor of Karnataka], Dr. Devanand Konwar [Former Governor of Bihar & Tripura] and Dr. Iqbal Singh [Former Lt. Governor of Pondicherry] have spoken on the life and achievements of Sardar Patel and praised the achievements of the unity award winners of different states of India who were present in the Symposia.

Leeladhar Baikampady, the successful youth organizer and social activist, is also the recent recipient of coveted ‘Rashtreeya Bhushan’ national award from Bangalore based ‘Bharath Rathna Sir M. Vishweshwarayya Foundation’ in acknowledgement of his excellent achievements and praiseworthy social activities carried out since past 28 years of his life. Right from very young age, he has engaged himself in organizing the youth, serving the society & humanity through his multidimensional activities in Undivided South Kanara, Bangalore, Mumbai and also in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He has been well-recognized as the youth activist, youth organizer, social & charity activist, writer, award winning stage artist, progressive thinker and a dynamic youth leader.

Now in Bahrain, he is the member of esteemed Social Organizations like The Indian Club, Karnataka Social Club, Maharashtra Cultural Society and he also serves as the decadal President of Mogaveers Bahrain which is presently engaged in their year-long decennial celebrations. He is also respected as the frontrunner in the formation of some of the Associations back in India and abroad.
