A C Bhandary unanimously elected as the president of the South Canara District committee

Mumbai, October 03: The “Vishwa Tuluvere Ayano” will be held from December 9th to 13th at Badiyadka. The special meeting regarding this global event was held under the presidentship of M Janaki-the president of Karnataka Tulu Sahithya Academy, on Friday at Sirichawadi Auditorium of Tulubhawan at Urwastore, Mangaore.

In this meeting, Mr A C Bhandary was unanimously elected as the president of the South Canara district Committee. Adyaru Mahabala Shetty, was elected as the honorary president, Dr Devaraj K as the vice-president, Bharathi Rai Kinnigoli, Yogish Shetty, Ramachandar Baikampady, Rajgopal Rai, Taranath Kottari Odiyuru, Karunakar Shetty, D M Kulal, Mohan Koppala Kadri, Premanath Geetha Shetty, P A Poojary, Vasantha Pujary, Dr. Sadananda Perla, Dayananda Kathalsar, K Chandrashekar Rai and Jagannatha Shetty Bala were elected as the conveners of various committees.

Dharmapal U Devadiga, Adyaru Mahabala shetty, Ravish Thantri expressed their views. Dr. Rajesh Alva Badiyadka explained briefly about various events that will be held during this conference –“Tulu Ayano”.

Jayachandra Varma, Yogish Shetty Jeppu, S Shrinath, Durga Prasad Rai, Roopakala Alva, K Chandrashekhar Rai, Hiriyadka Mohandas, Shrinivas Mankude, Jayanthi Bangera Moodabidire, Vijayakumar Hebbarabailu and heads of other Tulu associations were present in the meeting.
