Mumbai, December 18: The Konkan Railway Authority announced two special trains on Ahmadabad-Mangalore and Mumbai Central-Mangalore route for the convenience of travellers on the eve of Cristmas and New Year.
From Western Railway Division-Train Number-09415, will give special service namely Ahmedabad -Mangalore, and will run from Ahmadabad on December 24 and December 31- Thursaday at 4.30PM. On the same day it will reach Vasai at midnight 12.40, and will reach Panvel on Friday morning at 2.30AM, Udupi at 4.20PM and will reach Mangalore at 6.15PM. The same train with the number 09416, will start from Mangalore on two days-December 25th and January 1st at night 09.30PM, reach Udupi at 10.34PM, will reach Panvel on next day morning at 3.15AM, Vashi at 4.10 AM. The train will reach Ahamadabad at late-night12.20AM.
09009 will run between Mumbai Central-Mangalore on two days - December 23 and December 30th. On Wednesday, the train will start from Mumbai Central at night 11.15PM, will reach Borivili at midnight 12.02, Vasai at 12.30 and on Thursday morning at 2.30 AM it will reach Panvel, Udupi at 5.40PM and Mangalore at 7.15PM. The same Train will become Train Number 09010 and on December 24th and December 31st of Thursday, it will start from Mangalore at 10.30 PM, at 11.40PM-Udupi, next day Friday 1.40AM at Panvel, at 5.40PM Vasai Road, reach Borivili at 6.20PM and will reach Mumbai Central at 7.25 PM. The Railway authority requested the passengers to get the benefit of this special service.
For the convenience of the passengers, Railway authority announced this special train facility. The honarary president of the Railway Yathri Sangha Borivili(western zone)-Shankar Shetty, president Shimanthur Udaya Shetty, Chief secretary Sheela Shetty, R L Dias-the president of Railway Yathri sangha–Udupi and other office bearers expressed their happiness for the same and wished more services in the coming days.
