Gujarat, November 12: “Religions are an integral part of our life and are inspiration for a sacred life. The life without devotion is a waste. Religions are the guides to our life. Christian religion comprises of great traditional values” said Bishop Very. Rev.Cyprian Monis.

 

He said those words in an ordination programme. Aposthalic Executive officer and Retired Arch Bishop Rev.Stanislass Fernandes led the programme, held on Friday at Our Lady of Rosary Cathedral, at Baroda, Gujarat. Very.Rev Cyprian Monis Bishop of Assansole province gave ordination and blessed Lesley Rithesh Cutinho from Bantwala.

Fr.Lesly Rithesh Cutinho, son of Lucas Cutinho and Rufin Cutinho of Bantwala Taluk, South Canara received the ordination from Jamshedpur Province.

In this programme the provincial of Jamshedpur Jejwith group, Rev.Fr. William Carvallo from Rosary Cathedral, Fr.Paul D’silva, Rev.Fr.Pravin Vagus, Fr. Cyril Fernandis, Rev.Fr.K.N.Joseph, Mary D’souza Kulshekar, Lancy Cutinho, Loyd Cutinho, Tony Quadrous and others were present.

Later Fr.Lesly Rithesh Cutinho was honored at Skylarch Church Auditorium. Vicar General Rev.Fr.Joyal Pais welcomed. Rev. Fr. Jerome Sequeira sang the prayer; Fr.Lesly Rithesh Cutinho honored the guests with bouquet and proposed the vote of thanks.
